I often look on online magazines like vice. for me it gives articles on fashion, to truth about happening in the world, from drug matters, sub cultures and reviews on how backwards the world can be sometimes.
I noticed this article on how ad agencies don't know how to talk to woman, I have a strong hate for how some adverts make all woman ever talk about is bloating and washing up… this is not true although if I'm bloated I do make a point to tell the world… must be a woman thing.
Anyway, heres a link to the article. some of my personal favourites is the iron steam advert, if someone could tell me how this steam top secret talk works i would love to know, maybe its something you just learn when you reach a certain age. Also the true car advert, Hello!! woman can do many other things on their own and buying a car isn't that hard!! its mostly summed up this the quote "I don't need to bring a dude with me". No, you don't and there doesn't need to be an advert to tell us that. Did no one listen to destiny's child 'independent woman' song, "the car I'm driving, I brought it".
We can only live in hope that the next generation of ad agencies get this backward way of thinking how woman live more current to this day and age and not the 1950's housewife.
