Magazine Writing Style Tasks -Seminar

When I first found out we was doing a writing task I panicked, but surprisingly really enjoyed the task as it felt really creative. We had a short amount of time to answer certain questions, which we started off with ' Who am I? ' This is what I wrote.
I'm Jessie Moore, 19 from Essex. I have white, blonde hair that sometimes likes to look blue or purple. I am pretty small in height. I wear loads of rings and bracelets and never take them off. I have loads of shoes,
This is all i wrote for this task, although i do love talking about myself it was quite hard to think about things in such a short amount of time and get them down onto paper!

Our next task was to write in the style of a magazine we had chosen to bring. I choose company as for me its quite a fun and still fashionable magazine to read. The writing style is often very jokey which for me I understand more. Unlike some other fashion magazines, which might sometimes seem more like they are talking down to the reader, company relates and seems more like your best mate.

This is a short answer to the question 'The death of the high street, imagine a world without shops?', which I have written in the style of Company magazine.

Screaming, all hell breaking lose on the high streets of the UK, what would become of our shopping centres and the holy grail Oxford Street? Just a quick pop to Zara on your lunch break, last minute dash to Urban Outfitters and the panic, must have it now buy in Topshop will be no more. Buying online is fine I guess, but if your like me when even a trip to telco to get milk takes half an hour as, I have to touch and look at everything tesco extra has to offer, then only ever shopping online just won't do! I want to know what the fabric feels like to touch, I want to see what it looks like on straight away! And it's not just that, I want the whole shopping experience! The to loud music, the sweatiness of the sues, and finishing it all off with a cheeky starbucks, after shopping till you drop!
